looking at those things want to make me jump up on my desk singing "WAR, huh.. what is it good for?"

...and other such rough n' tumble melodies.

Are you poking fun at the plastic 5d jungle camouflage camera armour ?

You wont be laughing next time you need cam-armour designed for blending predator-like into jungle terrain. Is your camera 'ruggedized' and 'rubberized' ?

    Alternatively, just buy a Nikon.

Jaysus, I didn't think it was any more possible to make a nikon look like a brick!

if you take a camera and drop it - lets say from a distence of 3 meters!
would it matter what it was incased in? rubber.carbon fibre! etc.
I'd say it'd probably be FUBARED!

i wouldn't buy this rubber thing......lots better money spent on other rubber stuff!! or just drink the money!!!
    :)

My 300D got dropped from about 4 1/2 foot onto tiled ground with no problems whatsoever - So I'm hoping my 5D would stand up to the same!

Still, the 5D is covered in scratches at this stage.

I had considered buying the camera armour before, certainally would have come in handy a few times, namely camping on beaches, but at the end of the day, no harm done to the camera.

I always keep my 350 strapped around my neck, then if it falls 2-3 meter's I won't be so concerned with the camera ;)

i like the camo pattern one - it'd suit me down to the ground :)

i'd be interested in the strap, it looks like you could tow a truck with it

I have to agree. The camera strap does look sturdy and comfortable.
