Volunteers are required for life festival 2007 you will have free entry and staff access. Many many photo ops you just have to help out too.

Life Festival is kicking off in the beautifully picturesque Lough Cutra Castle grounds in Gort, County Galway - close to 1,300 tickets have been sold this year and climbing-

It is taking place over the weekend of June 15th to 17th. The site includes 3 stages, 2 dj tents as well as all of the eclectic market stalls, bar etc. that was all enjoyed last year. New to this year is a healing area down by the water and our own volunteer village with the best view out of all of the campers - Lough Cutra Castle on one side, the stage area on the other.

Volunteer Security Stewards are desperately needed at this point.

Their role is to have 1 shift a day on the grounds and are the helpful 'eyes and ears' for professional security who will take on their supervision and organisation. There will be 6 teams of 8-10 people who each report to a team leader. It is a good solution for those who crave the festival atmosphere but may not have the 120eu ticket price - you can work for your ticket and still have loads of time to relax and enjoy the weekend. Each volunteer gets to camp, is given meal vouchers for during their shifts, and of course are free to enjoy themselves to the fullest

On your time off there will be great potential to take amazing photographs. Also, if you can help us out at a couple of festivals this summer (this one is in Gort, but Castlepalooza is back at Charleville in August), we can work out a photography arrangement between yourselves and the castle for more photography time if you need it without the fee hassle etc.

Buses can be organised for volunteers to take to and from Lough Cutra, and directions will be given to those who can drive down or carpool.
