Can you use a english sim free phone in ireland?

    i'm thinkin off buying a phone off ebay - and just checkin that if i do can i use the phone is ireland???

    If it is indeed SIM-free you can use it most anywhere (unless it's an older phone that may not work in the USA). But Ireland -yes, of course.

    Well it will need to be marked Tri or Quad band to work in the USA, due to different spectrum being used
