does anybody know what is the largest HEIGHT of a hard drive that will fit into a macbook??

i see a 2.5" SATA 300GB hard drive but its 12.5mm high. the standard one (and most others) are 9mm.

will the macbook take the 12.5mm drive?? cant find anything on google.

    cheers

No, it can only take the 9mm. 12mm won't fit.
