Hi, I'm looking for an external HDD and have seen all kinds of recommendations for various brands and models but the one issue that I have about it the potential for overheating. Am I right in saying that plastic casing, non-fan types are not the Mae West and alloy casing with fan-assisted cooling is the best. Any size…

Hi, I'm looking for an external HDD and have seen all kinds of recommendations for various brands and models but the one issue that I have about it the potential for overheating. Any size over 200GB and any power options suit me, I just want the thing to stay at the decent temp.
