Right, this is a long shot and it's prolly in the wrong place...:(

In the current Sky Shopping magazine on Aer Lingus flights to the United States, there is an advertisment for a men's watch which they are selling as duty-free onboard. I was wondering if anybody knows the model of this watch? I desperately need to find out and I've searched through catalogues of watches online looking for it but with no luck. It's a Seiko men's watch (as far as I can remember), with a wide brown leather strap and a square face. It has a few little dials within the face and the numbers on the face stand out as they are laid out in an unusual way.

If anybody can remember seeing this watch and remember it's name, or if anyone is flying with Aer Lingus anytime over the next while, please have a look and let me know!!!! All I want is the model number...I need to buy this as a gift for someone's birthday in 2 weeks!!!!

    Please help!!! Thank you! :)

Why don't you ring Aer lingus and they should be able to tell you????

I did...they laughed at me!!!! :( Apparently they have more important things to worry about, which is the response I should've expected.

I've been searching through every website that stocks Seiko and have been in touch with Seiko themselves but no help.

I just need someone who's getting on an Aer Lingus flight to have a wee look!

There's a Sky Shopping section on the Aer Lingus website, which contains most of what is in the magazines as far as I know. Have you checked the watches there?

If you've no luck send me a PM and I'll see what I can do.

The pickle continues...this watch is nowhere to be found. I've googled it, can't buy it online anywhere. I've phoned every jeweller in Ireland and the UK listed on the Sekonda website as stockists. None of them had the watch I wanted. Decided to phone a random jeweller that I knew at home. The lady said she would ring Sekonda and order it for me - happy days, I thought. Sekonda told her that it was out of stock and would remain so for some time. Argh!!!! All I want is the watch!!!!!!!!!!! Anybody got any other suggestions?! :( Flying to the US and back just to get the watch is about all I can think of right now!

Don't know if this is of any use to you, but I received a gift last week from a neighbour of the other Sekonda watch advertised on the Aer Lingus sky shop (the 89 euro one), advertised here
I haven't opened it as I have two watches already! If you're interested in it, PM me and we can sort out the details.

Have you tried calling Aer Lingus and speaking to someone in the in-flight sales section? They will probably take your credit card details over the phone and post it out to you.

Some of the stuff in the magazine is exclusive to Aer Lingus so you may find it hard to track it down in the shops.
