    Yes, why? They suffer from the same thyroid problems, such as hyperthyroidism, as people and other mammals, if that's what you mean?

    I asked because a neighbour's dog (who is very well cared for) has thinned down a lot and I was wondering if there might be a doggy equivalent of over active thyroid.

    I wouldn't know much about this as I am only a little old fox....:)
