I've posted this in the scuba forum but got no response so I thought I'd try here.
Where are good beaches to snorkel in Galway/Clare region?
I'm thinking Coral Strand in Connemara is one!

Camping site nearby would also be great.

fanore in nw clare but with potentially lethal currents and a slightly savage dolphin ...likes women but men should stay away and let dolphin approach them not the other way round.

coral strand is in Carraroe ..... Trá An Dóilín

nothing in Galway bay of any major interest

    Thanks folks.
I see Renvyle is north of Clifden, is there any camping near Carraroe?
