I play 20-50 dollar STTs online. I'm curious what is considered a reasonable ROI (I'm using Sharkscope to track mine now as I havent bothered installing pokertracker since the move over, I know, I'm a lazy sob).

    DeV.

    anything above 0 is good!

depends if you are playing turbos or regular, if you multitable, and what site. On ipoker the standard was crap when i played a couple a few months ago, so similar to the tribecca days.

Double digits would be good, anything higher than like 15% or so you should prob move up levels to increase your hourly rate.

I exclusively played STTs (about 60% $33s I'd say. Started with $11s but quickly moved up to $22. Played a good few $55s towards the end before switiching to cash games) about this time last year. Played 3-4 tables at once and got a 18% roi over the course of about 300 of them.
I felt I did really well at them so I guess 18% is pretty good quality.

Btw, what sikes said is pretty accurate too.

the experts on 2+2 maintain that double digit Roi in the long run is no longer achievable multi tabling over $30 I tend to agree.

As for sample size I'm now of the opinion that 5000+ is needed this is based on having run 1000 with 30% Roi and 1000 with 3%- 1000 with 14% and- 1000 with 2%

You're still averaging double digits there, what buy-in are these stats based on Nicky because they look really good to me.

Yes, I agree. Because STTs are the easiest form of poker to 'master' it means there are so many more players who know what they're doing.
Before, there would be 5-6 fish in a SNG, now youll be lucky to find one with 3.
On Stars, I think the cut off point is the $27s. Anything above that and you're dealing with 75%+ pros/talented SNG players.

I play sit and go's occasionally on party. I totally agree with this. There seems to me to be a big jump between $22 and $33. I thought i was just imagining it. Sometimes it feels like you're playing against 2 donks and 6 or 7 clones

I've never really ever played STT's to any large degree and never really did the maths for ROI's etc. but how much does, say a 10% ROI on $200 STT's work out at as on an hourly $ / table rate?

10% ROI on 10man $200 Turbo STTs would be about $25/hr I believe.
Not 100% sure but that would be my guestimate

    After a quick look
About 1 in 3 cashes in $50 STTs on ipoker
Strangely I usually either win or bubble/bust my % of 2nd and 3rd is quite low.

For the most part I single table and with STT i only ever do 10 seaters

I did some math's on this last year and at the time 4 tabling I was getting $46 an hour on £30 buy-ins. Trouble is it's the general consensus that beating the $200 by 5% is now considered excellent. There's a number of tool's out there now that even the smallest S$G players are aware of. I've seen fairly detailed debate on ICM on 2+2 from $6 stt players.
