Hi, this is just a nest of emerging young of the common garden spider. Come september you will see these hanging in the center of a huge web in your garden. I love the wat these guys look very scary...

Anyone identify this spider? it crawled out from my BBQ. It has a zigzag pattern on its abdomen.

Also, I saw a spider that looked very much like a red back spider without a stripe. Are they native to Ireland?

Lastly, are there any web pages devoted to Irelands spider identification?
