Hi, Yesterday I lost the sound on all of the above radio channels? Anyone heard anything? It looks like they are still there but no sound? Any ideas?

    Thanks,

    Dave.

Not that I've experiences this issues, but just a couple of extra questions spring to mind.....

How was your BBC 2 Northern Ireland?
I assume you are tuned in via "other channels", if so, try resaving them, 10803, H, 22.0 5/6

If the transponder was at fault, those other channels would've been affected. If your box was at fault, other low freq channels (such as RTÉ's, ITV's etc) might be affected.

I was just about to raise the same issue. Got new digibox and was reloading other channels. All channels i wanted were ok apart from six music and bbc radio london which loaded up normally but when you selected them from other channels they did not work and the wording "no listings available" came up. I have FTV box and they are working normally on this. ???

Ahaaa.. I know what might be at issue...

The BBC have moved/duplicated the radio channels on satellite....

    11954, H, 27.5, 2/3

They are still on 10803, H, 22.0, 5/6, but try using the new frequency above.

Yes. BBC Radio Scotland also, seems to be gone off 10803H. But is on 11954H. However others like 5 Live and 5 Live Extra are not duplicated and are on 10803H only. Whats the reasoning for these changes? I thought the BBC wanted all its services on the Astra 2D beam only?

BBC Reception Info tells us that they have moved, but not why....
Why can I no longer receive some BBC radio stations via satellite?
Some BBC radio stations on satellite have moved their location. If you have a Sky satellite receiver you need do nothing, but if you have a 'free to air' type receiver you will have to make the changes manually, otherwise you will eventually lose the stations. You can find details on this page - channels with changes are marked.
