Saturday, 9th June is World Wide Knit in Public Day, and Dublin knitting groups are getting together for the day.

I know lots of people on here knit and if you're feeling that you're the alone in this hobby, this is a great opportunity to meet other knitters and crafters! A wonderful community has sprung up around knitting and crafting in Dublin and around Ireland. Many of us will be out on Saturday, so it's a great time to meet like-minded people.

We'll be knitting in public on the DART and we'll be at the Summerhouse in Stephen's Green for the afternoon on Saturday. If you want to learn how to knit, if you're thinking of picking up the needles again, or if you just want to see what the fuss is all about, come on out!
