Over the weekend I ended up in a debate as to the pronunciation of Moro. After much debating I said I would ask other eaters-of-moro how it is pronounced.

    Personally i've always said More-oh
    My G/F reckons its Morrow

All answers greatly appreciated, either that or ill have to email the producers of the bar and ask them :(

    More-oh, definitely.

    More-oh!!

It IS a play on the word "more" isn't it?! -> "You want Moro?" as in "You want more".......

They have been in New Zealand for many many years before the name came to these shores and the pronunciation was always more-oh.
    Morrow is a mispronounced vegetable.

I have always said more-oh, but when I see the bar or the word I have a horrible voice in my head that says morrow, only because I have heard other people say it like that. The same goes for 'erbs like baysil and orayganoh. I have actually said this a few times by mistake

in my experience, the first time i encountered ANYONE calling it a "more-oh", was a culchie (apologies for any offense caused!)

it always has been morrow to me.

I must go and buy one now to prove this point.

As a fellow Dub I must disagree. The only people I know who say morrow are all culchies.
