    Hi all,

A friend of mine is looking to do the whole Russia, Siberia, Mongolia, China trip and would like some information or good travel agents etc...

He went to trailfinders already but they weren't that helpful.

    Perhaps you can help

Moved to Youth & Student Travel, where you might get more info.

I would have thought it would be the other way round. Everywhere I´ve read says it´s cheaper if you do it yourself, but that probably assumes you can speak a little Russian. Some of the Western Agencies charge huge fees for what is really not an expensive trip.
    Try www.waytorussia.com or http://www.seat61.com/Trans-Siberian.htm

I'm looking into doing this trip too.

    I've found this website: http://www.sv-agency.udm.ru

It's been recommended on a couple of websites but would I be mad to book with them?

I really want to just buy the train ticket online but all I can find is group tours.

Has anyone on boards done this trip before?
