    Hi Folks,
    Thinking about selling my MBP.

    1.83Ghz
    1GB RAM
    80GB HD

    The usual.
Immaculate condition - not a scatch.

How much would you pay for it?

    core duo or core2duo?

It's a bad time to sell with the new revisions just out the door.

Core duo. I know, I'm pricing to see if I should upgrade or not though.

You could check it out on Everymac.com which gives its current value at roughly half its initial retail cost (bottom of page). But that's based on US market dynamics.
In Ireland it may vary. You could also check out eBay (Ireland & UK).

That is the premise I worked from last time round and I waited... and i still ended up with a whiney, noisey, mooing, purring, egg frying MBP :( i still love it though ;) granted I sorted most of the noises out but still... the point im making is im not sure things change all that much in the first 12 months of a revision... so if you are thinking of a change now, waiting for a less buggy model could be some time off, if that kind of thing worries you.

I just meant that you get less money for the older MBPs now that the shiny new faster ones with DX10 graphics are out:)

yeah true! Although you will get non-MBP users who cant afford the jump to a new one who will be happy to see the older MBPs come online for sales now.
