    Does anybody know that song that goes da da da da da da da TEM-TAT-ION, na na na na na na na TEM-TAT-ION etc,

    Soundes Indie, an old enough one i think, perhaps 80's, 90's..

    If it is, it's Temptation (funnily enough) by Heaven 17 (1983, remix came out in 1992 - ah, the youth club disco memories!) Not alternative/indie really but quite good.
    A better song by them is (We Don't Need That) Fascist Groove Thang.

    Heaven 17 did the original and then a dance version was done - don't know who did that one though. I think it was in the 80's
