 I currently subscribe to Sky+ with multiroom. Sky+ box in living room, standard box in another. Dish has quad LNB, 2 feeds to main room, 2 feeds to other room so I can move Sky+ box among the rooms when I want.

My question is if I buy a second Sky+ box can I replace the standard box and get Sky+ functionality in that second room without having to move boxes as I currently do? Or is the card in the standard digibox only going to allow standard viewing (no Sky+ facilities?) . Or will I have to pay for Sky+ twice per month? I know I cant just move the original Sky+ card to a new Sky+ box as its paired to its original box and I want to keep Sky+ in the main room also.

    Any idea's?

Yes, it's possible to have a second Sky+ box in the house and second Sky+ subscription.

The card you have in the standard digibox will need to have Sky+ features activated AFAIK. I'm not fully sure if you'll have to pay Sky+ recording fees twice, though bear in mind, that from 1 July, the Sky+ fee is being discontinued, no extra €15 regardless of subscription package.

I have 2 sky+ boxes and the mirrow sub allows sky + functuanality on the second box, no extra charge.
