    Hi All,

Have a Pace DV3 Sky Box and having problems with almost all channels.

Pixelation/Break up on all chanels. Signal strength is at a static 40% and signal quality is 0%

Normally both are around 50% or so - this is the best that the "SKY Engineers" could get.

Any ideas on what to do? I'm in Kildare so anyone that lives in that area who is good with a spanner and screwdriver might be interested in a nixer??

Sounds like dish is misaligned alright. Surprised that the best Quality the Sky installers could get was 50%. Is there any trees that might be growing in front fo the dish, blocking signal path?

BTW: The "DV3" you mentioned isn't the Pace model number - it's the DVB (Digital Video Broadcasting) Logo!

Dunno if anyone about here is in the KILDARE area...

EDIT: Yes, Kildare, not Limerick as I previously said :)

I was too lazy to get off my ass and check it so asked the wife and she said DV3. Once your married whatever the wife says is always right!!

Trees are the problem. Got hold of a guy from Celbridge who is charging me a 100 euro to locate the dish onto the chimney.

Ah grand stuff so. While the chimney isn't ideal, in some cases, there's no other option.
