I have no sound here so cant watch vids properly, duh.

Ive heard of this type of 'bad' near death experience, in the book Life after Life (Ill come back to this with the author) I think.

I think it stands to reason that there would be a 'bad' side to the spirit world, which we could experience but I dont necessarily think something like this means the person concerned is damned. (A disucussion more for spirituality perhaps)

Of course there is also the possiblilty that all nde's are caused by a physical phenomenon*, I think this was demonstrated once using g-forces on astronauts, they went thru what felt like nde's when subjected to high g's. I cant link to this, I saw it on Discovery once. :o

*not what I believe, but this is all about discussion.:)

Its an interesting topic all the same, is there a hell or even a heaven in the terms we deem them as in fire and sulfur and fluffy clouds and angels. Neither would be my take on either place but what if these hell visions were just a warning to mend your ways and the heaven visions to show people that there is some light after illness? Sort of like a universal vision of an afterlife but not nessasary the actual places we go to but given to us in a way we can cope with or make logical sense to our way of thinking here.

without breaching the charter... my mate is a doc who occasionally comes across this. He's catholic himself but finds in the cases he has seen that you would be prone to link the experiences with the lack of oxygen rather than a spiritual encounter.

That being said, the whole hell things, its a bit final all the same. is there no room for repent at all?

If you're a Jew, Christian or Muslim, then no, no room at all, you will burn for all time without end.

If you're an atheist like me though you should be ok :D
