Hand 2, why are you checking the turn and then raising the river?
If your scared of the flush then just call the river if not then bet the turn!

    Hand 3
I don't like the bet on the turn, it's too small, bet bigger or check.
    As played fold
Min raising turn then pushing river is usually a monster I find.

I'm not scared of the flush!! Please read description of villain again. I can't see any value to betting the turn. And I figure I am miles ahead here.

How can you not see any value in betting the turn. Do you think he folds his king?
Bet the turn and the river seems a much better line to me.

Do we make more by betting the turn and river; or do we make more by checking behind to let him think his King is likely good and allowing him to bluff at us on the river? I think the latter. I'm not sure there are two streets of value here. And I reckon we are miles ahead.

There is 1050 in the pot by my counting. So if you bet the turn you probably bet 750-800 which is what you got on the river anyway. So while you may not get a call on the river there is a chance you will and the times he will call makes it a better line imo.

yeah definitely bet turn in hand one. do you really think a player like that is going to fold top pair?

I would fold now, I doubt you are ahead. Also I would have checked the turn. I'm not sure about the 888 hand, I would either bet the turn or just call the river, I don't think there is as much value in the line you took.

Hand 3 is a fold most of the time. Hand 2 i raise the turn and shove the river. I think you lost value there.

    hand 1, fine..
hand 2, you definately missed a bet on the turn here and a possible shove on the river that may have been called by what seems like a week opponent..
hand 3, i can for sure see a frustrated bluff here but more often than not i feel we're beat and find a fold.. (check turn)

Cheers. BTW - I had no idea until after but I was at your table for a brief period at the start of day two in Drogheda last weekend. Very aggressive. :)

yeah, i noticed you had a nice stack coming to our table and was expecting the table dynamics to change somewhat so planned on rocking up, being fairly content that i could get paid off when i made a hand..
you didn't end up staying too long and unfortunately it wasn't long after that i busted out with my ak being no good against the chipleaders aq allin pf... so much for an aggro image huh..
t'was a great weekend though and regardless of how much i want to say it, donkaments was the last thing on my mind playing that structure..

unlucky on not making the money btw..
