It appears that one of (if not the) biggest purpetrator of spam on planet Earth has been arrested. Woohoo! 65 years in prison? Not enough imo!

However, my point is that I think that the amount of spam in my inbox has dropped significantly today and yesterday I didn't seem to get much either.

Has anyone noticed a drop in spam levels today?

Apologies if this has been posted elsewhere, I'll merge this with the current one if someone can point it out. Ta.

Glad to see the b@stard get taken down, now if they could only get the rest of them. Personally I don't get much spam thank God.

Process that information in ur mind and think logically.

You sound like a 16 year old kid arguing for choclates.

"Spam king" is this a simpson character or what ?

If CIA pull anyone of the house and say its "spam king" thats the news u get what u just read

and next day if he will be released without charge

there will be a small print saying

"Spam king released without charged because of not enough evidence"

Don't know if it's declining. I never get much, cause of all the anti-spam programmes that filter my email.

I'd love to circumvent the rules of boards and say what I think, but I like posting in AH.

plus i'd assume he has a lot of stuff automated. It'll take a while before the email addresses start to dry up so the drop wont be instantaneous.

Only spam i got was from boards :D Seriously... email from boards saying there is a reply to an advert... from spam@boards.ie :D

Oh and digitally-yours what in the hell are you talking about?... no forget it.. English is obviously not your native language so you are giving me a headache the more you try to explain things. Maybe you should post in whatever language it is you speak and we can run it thorugh a translator and see if that makes more sense :D
I think i partially agree with you on the media.. though im probably wrong in what you i think you are trying to say :D

what's with all the fúcking hostility?

The guy posts about a spammer getting time and everyone gives him grief.
    Get a fúcking life.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,287 ✭✭✭NotMe

I'm actually getting more spam into my gmail account lately that isn't going straight to the spam folder. Usually a random bunch of words. Got this one today. http://img528.imageshack.us/img528/630/spamgj0.jpg

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,279 ✭✭✭DemonOfTheFall

I believe they do that to fúck up the filters that anti-spam software uses. They just send through a few million random pieces of crap, and it messes up the filters a little, because a lot of them are learning filters.

I've noticed that random crap slipping through gmail filters lately too.

Doing that to mess up the filters is actually kinda scarilly clever....
