Has anybody changed over from Ripwave to Ripwave Plus?
    Or thinking about it?

I have just changed over today, they said it will take about 5 days for it to activate, so it will be intresting, although, you are tied to a new 6 month contract if you switch...

Plus, is this from 512 to 1 meg?
I go that straight off the bat, better than other wireless modem's I have had.

I switched to Plus a few months ago.

There wasn't really much of an increase in download speed to be honest
ie I rarely get more than 50KB/sec down but I did get this speed more
often after the upgrade as opposed to the average 15KB I used to get.

The upload speed improved significantly which I noticed instantly
as I am constantly uploading photos to flickr/photobox.ie.

For me it was worth it for the upload speed alone.
