3 Replacement Phones

I just broke my K800i. I tried to take advantage of the three offer of replacing phones for €50 if you renew your contract. When I rang them they said they were out of stock of the k800i and tried to give me some other (cheaper) phone. I told him I didnt want it (even though he kept telling me it was more "advanced"). First the operator said he didnt know when the phone would be back in stock but when I insisted I didnt want a different phone he told me they would be back in stock in 48 hours.

48 hours has come and gone without a call back. So im wondering if I go into a 3 store can I get a new K800i in there or if I wait a week or 2 would I be able to get 1 of the newer phones that they are about to release (unlikely I think).

And of coarse since my phone is broken I cannot use my 3 sim card which means because im on billpay im paying for calls and texts that I might not get to use.

you won't get one in store. the phones they send out are refurbished models. if you don't want a lesser model all you can do is wait.

having said that, 3 customer care has been known to be wrong on occasion so if you keep ringing and make yourself a nuisance they might "remember" that they're in stock after all
