Realistically, then only hand you are ahead of is KJ, so I fold. SB has 55 or 22 a lot here I guess. If he is a decent player KT is unlikely, but possible.

it's something I've been doing quite bit recently in similar spots and against aggro opponents like yourself

The CO's turn bet of $13 into a $40 pot is very weak. Is it possible that the SB realised this and raised up with his nut flush draw?

Its hard for the sb to have us beat. He cold called the flop on a very draw heavy board in position against two players, so unless he has KT we are probably ahead.

Valor & Ste05, why should we bet the turn here? I'm not askin cos I think we shouldn't, but I (terrible player!!) would mostly if not always check turn, and am missing something as to why it is good to bet turn? Don't mean to derail...

I fold pretty quickly here btw.

The reason I bet the turn, is because we likely have the best hand, there's a few draws out there that didn't hit and the 10 doesn't really change anything in the hand (if we had the best hand we likely still do) Weaker hands will still possibly call (i.e. the fish in the CO) as will draws, just like they did on the flop.

When we think we have the best hand we want to put more money into the pot, the CO has a low AF so it's unlikely he'll bet a weaker hand/bluff at the pot so the best action to take is to bet and let them call.
