    Hi All
Always had an interest in photography, only recently got a half decent camera.
Anyway, these three shots were the best of about 20 I took while just sitting in the front garden in a bit of decent weather.
Any advice / critisisim / pi$$ taking would be appriciated! :)

They were taken by mobile phone? I am sorry, but the quality looks horrible.
The pictures are nice, be interested in photography!

They do look a bit washy but again the images are ok. Are they JPEG images as they might need to be saved as SRGB instead?

technically the image quality is poor and they looks a bit washed out and flat, that said that's probably a mixture of the camera and maybe your inexperience.
You've got an eye for it tho, keep it up!

    What camera are you using?

Yeah, though these are scaled down in size to make it handier to fit in here, the originals look WAY better, sorry for the poor quality of the scaled down images, will link to a better (but larger) copy of them.

BTW Camera is a Fujifilm S5600

Managed to get slightly bigger images but they're still not the best.
Have abandoned that photo hosting site and gone with flickr.

    Here's the links

    Bee

    Flower

    Plant

Think you'll find them a fair bit better

    Thanks for your patience :)

Not too bad at all, don't scale them down at all next time, just drop them onto flickr and post a link here. :) Your eye is good as mentioned. Keep posting!

Hi firstly I only started photography about 11 months ago with an s5600 and have now moved up to a nikon d40 BUT I still have my Fuji when I don't want to have to change lens' and crap.

In terms of composition they are ok. But like the others said the colors are a bit washed out. Have you used flash at all ? That can 'dilute' the colours.

However there is also a lot of jpeg compression visible. The 2nd one isn't too bad however have you cropped them at all ? It seems to me that they should be much bigger.

Also I recommend fully reading the manual *TWICE* and using auto perhaps until you get the hang of it.

Your camera is not sh*t either I got some nice pics wiht it which you can see here
