Hey i searched for house could not find a topic that said spoilers in the title and i wanted to get a good discussion going on the last episode,

From the very start almost i knew that he would fire him, just the look in his face when he was talking to him and with the 2 of them gone it was obvious that cameran would leave, still tho will they be back in season 4 or is it new cast?

And freaky heart condition being able to talk with no pulse that would freak some people out if they saw that

just watched it, quite enjoyable. Season 3 was a good one for House, some great lines in it.

Nice to hear the Josh Ritter song at the end as well

Be interesting to see what the line up is going to be for the 4th season

I'm glad he did it. I was almost annoyed when House started asking Foreman to stay but then was delighted when it turned into a rant instead. Foreman is arrogant (a House quality indeed) but without the success - he's rarely right and, when he's wrong people die. He certainly did not deserve his own unit.

Firing Chase on the other hand.. does he want a clean sweep? Chase diagnosis are more often right than the others and House seems to know that. I'd see him being pushed out on his own - the firing is perhaps more of a sign that House has faith in him to make it on his own than the others.

Good finale and very enjoyable season. House is one of my TV heroes currently. I'd just love to see him face off with Larry David :)

Yeah I thought it was a great finale to a great series. The only blip was the fizzling out of the Tritter storyline (after building it up so much).

It could be a fun Series 4 if Foreman actually took Cuddy up on heading the second diagnostic team and Cameron and Chase were on his team. :)

Yeh i thought the Tritter storyline was a bit of a let down.

I loved the finale and the whole season, not sure if i prefered it to the second season but it was still brilliant.

    Anybody know when its back?

Yep.. i've never been shy in my love of 'House'

Finale was excellent - not a massive cliffhanger really. Well.... in saying that, it was because last season was such a mindf*ck of a cliffhanger altogether.

Josh Ritter song was excellent at the end too but the show is always consistent with great music. Brett Dannen was played the week before and his album is stupendous.

I, for one, enjoyed the storyline with Tritter but i agree with the sentiment that it fizzled out quite suddenly. David Morse was however fantastic in the role.

They're bound to all be back next season... probably one or two episodes in but i'd imagine they'll be coaxed back by some bizarre medical mystery or have an illness affect either one of the group. Just a guess outta nowhere though.

The moment and line from this season i don't i'll ever forget is:

House acting all.... well, House-esque (hard-ass sarcastic bastard that's just so fun to watch). And i forget the exact nature of the case but he had to open a pregnant woman's womb on a operating table and all of a sudden, a tiny hand reaches out and grasps his finger. We appear to see the slighest bit of emotion shows in House and one of the nurses asks is he OK? And he replies with possibly the finest funniest writing i've heard all year..

.. "Yeah, that reminds me. I forgot to TiVo Alien tonight!" :D

No show has been more consistent in it's three series in recent years than 'House' and it kind of annoyed me recently when think it was Nikki Hayes on 2FM was saying she's really enjoying it and asked the listeners what they thought. And she said the texts were very divided - half saying it's rubbish, half saying it's brillant.

I couldn't help but think look what the half who think it's rubbish are missing. Because i will admit i started it and was completely and utterly uninterested until about 8 - 10 episodes through season 1 when i really felt like i could understand House and his mannerisms.

The show is genius... and i can't recommend it enough!

And to anyone who tried to watch it and couldn't get into it, do try again because it's worth it!

And to answer orla's question of when it's back.. i'm guessing end of September / start of October.

if house loses one person, his personality dictates that he should get rid of them all. but i dont see him as wanting to train in some new people...

i take it that the show is now over...??

oh i see from reading that it isn't....

it would have been a perfect ending to such a great show....with some optimism from House.

in the last few episodes, more emphasis was put on the side arch story rather than the medical side. they will have to come up with some damn good medical mysteries to keep the high standard so far displayed

While I agree it would have been a great ending, there's not a chance that FOX will let 'House' die off so soon if they can do anything - it's very popular in the US and Hugh Laurie (AFAIK) is contracted for at least two more years.

It will be interesting to see where he can take his Ducklings next year - on one hand, I feel they've been brought as far as they can and can't learn any more. On the other hand, I'm somewhat attached to them although it's Chase who should stay if anyone does.

Heh.. i'd doubt it for some reason!

I know he was scheduled for a cameo but couldn't make the filming schedule.

And although Fry is fantastic.. i can't picture him in 'House'
