    Just saw the posting re Innishannon rally. Will be down that neck of the woods at the weekend. Is it worth going to. Sounds like it's on Sun & Mon?.

    biggest steam rally in Ireland - usually circa 200 cars at same....250 circa tractors...30 circa steamengines and the usual other displays

    I haven't been there for a few year's as it clashes with our own club (Limerick) classic car run and show. It's usually a great show though.

    There is usually a good selection of trucks. I know that for the last couple of years there has been a few trucks down from the north (AEC engined Thornycroft, Bedford etc..) a neighbour of mine takes down his Mack.

    Well worth a visit.

    I had the pleasure of driving it many years back before Fossetts Circus owned it, sure was a brute to drive, very heavy steering and top speed 31mph, but would pull a house down.
