my grinds teacher claims its almost gauranteed thoerm 9 shall come up this year
also, in french, ive noticed a pattern: for the letter-nearly always-every 2 years, theres a letter of thanks ,then a diff type the next year
last year there was a letter of thnaks,so none this year

You might get a formal letter.

hopefully if it does come up,it will be a choice again-we only covered it in the last 2 days of school!

em, yeh, heard of a poss formal letter option in french, maths is prob theorem 9 alright(the line in proportion one)

cspe, voting or something so interesting,
history, northern ireland will defo come up somewhere(being the year it is)
science: all the science teachers in wexford get together and do a list of what they think will come up, but i cant find it/remember where i put it, i think it was just what didnt come up last year really

Northern Ireland wouldn't come up solely because of the year that it is. They set the exam papers back in September. For history just learn off one reformer, one expedition, one renaissamce artist etc. etc, you know that they'll turn up somewhere on the paper.

Study everything!!! because you dont know what the chief examiners could hit you with.

Geography paper was a bit dodgy when I did the jc last year and that was evident in the percentage reduction in As in the subject.

    11.5% in 2005 down to 9.5% in 2006.

In fairness a drop in 2% isn't that big a deal.

good chance of it being easier this year!!

If you take the total cohort who are doing in the exam then it is a big drop. I knew myself that the geography paper was hard but I still got an A in it.
