Why dont you fly direct from Dublin to Washington with Aer Lingus? Nonstop.
Aer Lingus will land you in Dulles.
    Regards.

Ronald Regan (National Airport) is the closest. Only 4 miles from downtown. Airport code DCA.

Dulles is 26 miles out, code IAD

Baltimore is furthest out, not sure how far, but I've been told (by Irish embassy staff) that it should be avoided. Code BWI

The approach to Regan is far more scenic (over the city!). I've flown into Dulles and found it ok, huge airport with good transport links to downtown.
