Hi, I am applying for Archaeology in UCC as a mature student next year (when I am 21). I have no leaving cert, but I got a B in ordinary History and ordinary Geography.

What must I have to get into the course?

I think you have to be 23 to qualify as a mature student. Have a look at this.

Hmm, 23 seems to be the figure all right http://www.citizensinformation.ie. Did it that way myself (not archeology)

but according to the "Introduction of Irish Archaeology" certificate course, you have to be 21 and over, but the rules are flexible.
