Hi, prolly recommended a thousand times, but anyway, does anyone have recommendations for a 4 day short stay hotel in ireland for a family of 2 adults & 3 kids ? (this is the tough bit!)...that won't break my bank balance ????? Hoping for sub 700 and definitely hoping for a pool or leisure centre if at all possible ?

    Thanks

    FBP

Have you considered renting a house for that time? You can find houses which are on the grounds of a hotel so you can use their facilities? Have a look at www.dreamireland.com - would probably work out a lot cheaper.

Edit: There is a link on the main page for houses with leisure centre onsite!

My sister and 4 of her children recently spent a weekend in a 2 bed suite attached to a hotel in either Limerick or Clare and it included 2 nights B&B plus dinner 1 evening and it was very reasonable. I think it was under €250 I'll check with her and find out the all the details. I know she was very impressed with it.
