    hey guys,

since this fight was announced at ufc 71, i've been jumping up and down with excitment. my thoughts, i think henderson will win. i think chuck took rampage offence too lightly( not sure why?). i mean he left his hands lay extremely low
for those 2 minutes. rampage is a straight up BRAWLER, he has his slams too but henderson is a complete package. between his wrestling and his very much improved standup, i think he will get the better of rampage.
what a sight it would be if henderson held 3 belts at the end of that night.

    Your thoughts please!

also when do you guys think it will happen, October or November....ish

Dan has a chin of granite and is one of the few people who Quinton can't bully around with his strength.

Chuck always leaves his hands low like that.. It's his style. He was hit off a counter from his body shot. It was good timing by Rampage.

Who will win between Dan and Rampage? That all depends on which Dan Henderson is in there. He looked great against Wanderlei, but it wasn't long before that that Dan was losing to Misaki - who is no Quontin Rampage Jackson.

I wouldn't bet any money on this fight.

the rampage who walked in to fight chuck look scary...was he zoned out or totally tuned in his eyes and manner were so hard to read...but i was delighted he won...
I am a rampage fan and believe he gives the belt a little more charisma than chuck did chuck was an excellant champ will always be a top competitor...
now on to hendo v rampage
some have said that rampage found god and lost his aggression perhaps...doesn't matter
his body shape has dramatically changed
his skill levels are improving he's young
    strong - freakishly so
    fast
    has great timing
takes a punch and a knee and won't back off - think the ko from wanderlai
in other words he's dynamic [hate this word but it's appropriate]

hendo is a great and a true great at that
from great wrestler to much improved stand up..
    weight will be an issue
he's a big guy but no LHW
    What's his walking around weight...200?
This could come down to size as these guys have similar attributes...and it would appear their mindsets are starting to become similar....
whoever wins this should be a great war [technical or a brawl it won't be a bore]
    i'm the new don king
i'm going with the champ on this one...much respect to hendo but now is the time of the rampant one

Chuck ALWAYS carries his hands like that. He did not take Rampage lightly, why would he, Rampage kicked the **** out of him last time so why would he assume he could take him lightly??? I was delighted to see Chuck go down as punishment for the low hands thing, he does it all the time and its about time he got dropped. fact is Rampage is a better fighter than Chuck and would win everytime IMO. He has sharper stand up, isnt afraid of Chuck and doesnt just rely on sprawl and brawl.

As for the fight with Hendo vs Rampage i dont think thats gonna be an easy one to call. First of all, Quinton did very well against Lindland who is a more accomplished wrestler than even Dan. He even managed to slam him a few times. Secondly Dan has Vitor Belfort syndrome as in u never know which Dan will turn up. He was rubbish against Misaki, Kondo (he won but it was a BS decision) and Rogerio and then again he looked great against Wanderlei and Vitor when Vitor was game for a change. Stand up, both have hard heads and are not afraid to throw dow, Dan has a lot of power as does Quinton but Rampage has the more refined technical strikes. On the ground I dont see eitherman submitting the other which means that it comes to wrestling. Obviously Dans the better wrestler BUT Rampage is a horse and hes no slouch in the wrestling department either and Randleman got nowhere near getting him down. I can see this being an all out war to be honest and its very ahrd to pick a winner. i just hope its not done in 2 minutes this time!! Its been a while since we've seen a main event that went past 1 or 2 rounds that was competitive (Randy - Sylvia was NOT competitive!!).

Im looking forward to a war and I wouldnt bet any money on it to b honest with you. If I had to make a call Id say Rampage by decison after Dan gasses (which has happened before)

Chucks style, just as the first fight in Pride arm are always down. It was good timing by Rampage with the counter to the body shot!

As for Hendo and Rampage, think theres going to be a rematch with Chuck first beofre Hendo, or maybe a Hendo and Chuck for a shot at Rampage. Chuck will always get a chance as he was and prob still is Dana's poster boy for the UFC.

I think if they both bring their A game that hendo will win
They are both great fighters but hendo has that little bit more, plus a 2 weight champion which is impressive
I know it's a big if but as they both have said UFC offers them way more money than pride so I can see this one being a war as they will want to impress the hugely unknowledgeable Americans and show them what pride is all about thus earning $$$$.

No, Hendo vs Rampage is next before any rematch with Chuck. Chuck will probably be fighting Wanderlei Silva next. This was addressed in the post fight presser so its official.

Dana has publically said there will be no instant rematch and Chuck will need to work his way back into it with a win or two. Seeing Chuck Vs Ramage again is a no go right now.

Page had him twice, it's hard to argue that he won't have him again. Let Chuck get his wins on, let Page defend against Hendo and one other person and then let them scrap it out again.

Exactly. I dont wanna see more rematches around this time when the PRIDE acquisition gives us so many exciting NEW fights or rematches of fights that havent happened only recently.

Shogun/Lil Nog/Soku/Arona/Overeem/Wanderlei/Hendo - UFC has Chuck and Tito and maybe Machida if he stays at 205 (i think hes better off at 195)

Who wants to see Tito vs Chuck 10?

Let Rampage defend his title against Hendo and if he wins, then Shogun. If he wins both and Chuck wins against Silva and a second fight (no, not Tito please  ), then fair enough, have them fight again but I'm on the fence in the Rampage/Hendo fight. All depends if Hendo brings his A game but if Rampage wins I won't be on the fence for a Rampage Vs Shogun fight. It'll be Shogun all the way baby! :D
