Need to get EU Multiple Entry Visas for Work

Hello friends,

My new work in Dublin requires me to obtain multiple entry visas for EU countries that I need to visit every month (once or twice maybe). My problem is that I'm a foreigner that stays in Dublin with a dependent's visa. My wife is already working here. Would you know where and how do I go about getting visas? Would it be on a per embassy basis? Any idea the costs involved. Would it be right to assume that my employer should cover such costs. Many thanks and sorry for too many questions.

As far as I know an EU visa won't cover Ireland - the Brits wouldn't join the system (the Schengen Zone) so we couldn't either.

I could be wrong about that though, but I'm quite sure that's the case. Or do you mean working in OTHER parts of the EU (you're question didn't seem entirely clear). If that is what you meant, then if its within the EU15 (the pre-2004 ones) other than the UK, then you just need one visa (a Schengen Visa)

Get ur self a residence card. also apply schengen visa

that will gain u access to various countries

The IMMIGRATION system is in this country is in Shambles.Its a nightmere to deal with them !

Yes sorry, I'll be working on other parts of EU. I'm in Dublin now. Yes, schengen visa is the one i need. Would you know where I can get this visa?

Yes its quite a stumbling block for me. I just have a work permit now to work in Ireland - but I have project assignments to other parts of EU. Thanks!

you can get visa for any member state which is schengen member state and all states will honour that visa

so get any sengen state visa

see which one has quickest processing time and go far that one

I have 2 more queries regarding this:

1. If you are a citizen of EU or EEA and wants to travel to these Shengen zones would you still need a visa?

2. If one is issued a Schengen visa, up to how long is maximum length of stay? Would it be 6 months or more?

Answer 1 = if you have citizenship <passport of the any EU country> you can travel without visa.

Answer 2= I think its 3 months u can check with embassys call them they will tell u all its not a secret

Thanks! Quite an advantage for EU nationals. I saw in another sight i think www.schengenvisa.cc that it can go as long as 90 days or even 6 months before you renew.

I know it was last May when you requested this information on schengen visas. That website you were on at http://www.schengenvisa.cc/ is a third party site. They charge you €40 :eek: for the application form plus a booklet with advice on getting the visa.

If you just require the form itself it is here free:
http://www.migrationsverket.se/blanketter/bob/visum/blvisa_119031_en.pdf You can bring it to any Schengen Embassy as far as I see. Not sure of the cost though.
