You can't do it in iTunes, because it's illegal to pirate music. There are ways to do it, but they can't be discussed here again due to the fact that it's illegal.

Not a chance buddy. If you want to do something like that, best do it yourself.

If they own the rights to the music, if it was tracks you or your friend had written then it's perfectly legal to copy them wherever you want.

If he owned the rights to the music, if he'd written it, or his friend had written the music, he'd be able to supply him with a CD to rip. What's he's proposing is clearly the opposite.

The actual process of copying music from an iPod to a PC is far from illegal and I see absolutely no reason why it should not be discussed here.

AFAIK OP, you have to get an alternative program to iTunes to do this. I don't have an iPod so I don't know, but I'm sure someone else will be able to help you out.

Illegal my ass. If it's not copyrighted it's not illegal. If the OP wanted to copy non copyrighted music then he'd be perfectly entitled to an explanation on how to do this.

A good i-tunes alternative is a program called media monkey.

**which can be used to move non-copyrighted music from one device to another**
