Mirror Haunting

Recently myself, two younger sisters, dad and my sisters friends have all seen manifestations of a guy between the age of 20 - 25 and a girl roughly about 18-19, these events all started around the time a mirror thats over 100 years old was put up in our kitchen, this mirror was given to us by an aunt that had it in her house for a good few years and her house is pretty well haunted too with similar events ranging from noises, to footsteps to seeing people.
I don't believe its an evil spirit/s but i would like to know if anyone has ever heard of an object or mirror of attracting or retaining spirits etc??

Love to get some feedback and opinions on this!

Im being dead serious, i would really love to get to the bottom of it, im trying to get details of where the mirror was before my aunt got it, its been in the family its whole life!!

So are these manifestations being seen within the mirror itself or around the house? Has there ever been any activity in the house prior to the mirror's arrival?

I find it fascinating to think that an object could be haunted but seeing as the mirror has stayed within the family, that may have some relevence.

Even if a purchase may be out of order, I'm sure 6th would appreciate it if you find your way to arranging some sort of lease or rental agreement. :P

(I'm serious by the way. We have a large cabinet/drawers/mahoghony mirror piece in the hall of our house and I think I'd like one in the sittingroom, too)

Its not within the mirror but mainly around the kitchen area and landing area. Things like noises, footsteps, people talking when sum1s alone in the house, seeing a man or a young girl, radios turning themselves on, my sisters says she feels as though shes being watched walking up the stairs and refuses to go down stairs on her own(She hates being in the house on her own now as well)!
Theres loads of other little things as well i list later, gotta go to work!

I dont know much about haunted objects but if an object or something that was liked or loved by a person when alive they may just like to see it sometimes, but that even seems a bit far reaching (but not impossible) as well material things I would imagine would become less important to people on the other side in comparason to say people they leave behind. A picture would be good though. Is there any history with the house itself, or has anyone reconised any of the figures as been maybe far back family or something like that? Is anyone in the house or family seen maybe as a sensitive?

My granny was the first to live in the house also im not sure if anyone in the house is a 'sensitive' i've seen a young girl in the kitchen, one my sisters saw a guy about 20-25 and my other sisters friends saw a guy about 20-25, my dad has heard people walking arounf upstairs when hes alone in the house and could of sworn he saw a figure walk across the landing. 3 radios in the house seen to turn themselves on when they feel like it, myself and a friend where in my room and my radio turned on and turned itself up full volume, theres no remote for it!
My youngest sisters and myself get the feeling of being watched on the stairs/landing and my youngest sisters says shes seen shadows go up the wall on the stairs.

There was no other house there before ours, i found out last night that there was a farm across the road from where our house is now.

Also talked to a priest(friend of the family) and he says its possible a lost soul looking for help to move on!? Would make sense as a lot of the things are like someones looking for attention!

Yes he is serious, I gave 6th a mirror some time back and to be honest the people who it "belonged" too have had a much happier time since it was out of the house

I see, im interested to see what or where the current activity leads to, to see if it gets worse or what! I really want to find out the history of the mirror and the farm that the area is built on!

Nothin in thw past few days, i have those photos just havent had a chance to upload them yet, i'll do it tonight.

After doing a fair bit of digging i've come up with a fair bit of info on the mirror, and the possibility that the mirror could be cursed.

The mirror was original owned by my grandfathers sisters that lived together, i found out recently that there was a lot on negativity in that house as in fighting etc, don't have the full details. The mirror was then put into my aunts house where the occupants experienced ghostly going ons but a spate of bad luck, once the mirror left her house everything seems to calm down but then after a while being in the shed the mirror was put up in our kitchen and little things have happened as explained in other posts on this thread.
This is what has lead me to believe the mirror could be cursed, the "bad luck" following the mirror where it goes, also i've read up on mirrors attracting energies but not 100% on this theory yet.
I'll post those photos of the mirror in the next 30 mins aswell.

Sorry about bringing back up an old thread, its gotten more interesting. My dad was in the kitchen two nights ago and felt someone behind hime, he turned round as he thought it was my mom and out of the corner of his eye he saw a red and black tartan skirt, he went looking for my mom and she was upstairs in bed and no one in the house has a skirt like this.

I'll get some pictures of the mirror today and upload them.

Also i have setup two night vision cameras, one in the hall and one in the kitchen on motion detection to see if it show up anything!

You're doing everything you could do on this situation (pictures, cameras etc) so fair play.

Yup, but i heard there wouldn't be much(if anything) with regard to UFOs this year!

So far theres been nothing major, the motion detection cameras records at random times through out the night, not always the at the same time, the two cameras have recorded when i know that no one has been in, nothing is showing up on the recordings, i've ruled out insects/pets/wind and lights as to the rigger of the motion detection.

I'll keep you updated if i find anything else.

Just wondering if there is anything else i can do next?

Mirror seems in good condition so your not mistaking smudges or mottling.
