    Hey
I just dropped my ipod down the toilet 2 days ago   and it has stopped working..
I tried drying it, put it on a radiator, left it in the sun..
There doesnt seem to be any excess water in it now..

I was wondering what I can do.. It wont turn on so I cant do anything with it..
I was thinking of opening it but I a bit scared of wrecking it more!

Any suggestion on what to do or where to bring it?? Is opening it wise??

    Cheers!!

It won't turn on, how can you wreck it more. I put mine in a washing machine a while ago and got it working again but it was stolen soon after.

It still had some problems like reduced battery life behaved oddly at times.

I opened it up and dried off whatever water I could and then put a towel on the radiator and left it drying for 2 weeks. Then I tried it and it came on briefly but switched off. It worked off USB though so it was obvious, it was the battery that was causing the problem so I ordered a replacement off ebay and opened it up again, inserted it and it worked.
