It's above Front Arch. If you're heading out of college through Front Arch, there's a door on the left and it's through there and up the stairs.

yeah it's the bit that goes on top of front arch. Come in the front gate and half way through the arch there is a door on your right. Regent house is the room at the top of the stairs. Toilet is miles away so make sure you pee before you go in :-)

Great acoustics in that place. Works much better as noise machine than an exam hall. *fond memories*

My dads a musician and he said he used to do gigs in their when it was the original JCR (Junior Common Room). Is he just day dreaming from his hippie days or is this true....could you image having a beer in that place listening to some music it would be soo cool, the SU should reclaim it! Anybody for a sit in?

Hehe, if only people knew the College history.

If you're not allowed sit-in, I really think you should call Joe Duffy. That'd sort 'em.

yep - joe duffy held a sit in there and also ran an establishment that, uh, facilitated the purchase of alcohol, shall we say..

Ibid - come off it, you didnt know that until RAS told you at commons last month!

I thought Joe Duffy operated that bar out of an apartment in Goldsmith or somewhere. Makes more sense for Regent House though, was it becasue only protestants were served in the Pav?

He operated from the JCR - which wasn't in goldsmith at the time.

I was the other side of the table to RAS, didn't know he was talking about it.

I actually read it the same day I read the Statutes in Junior Fresh, in JV Luce's The First 400 Years, which you can get in the Lecky or the Counter Reserve in 374.415 N22.

Ouh or you can buy it here.

Is it worth €20? Looks interesting

I'm a big College nerd, but I think it's definitely worth the €20.

Well bearing in mind I already own this book on the school of medicine I think I might get my money's worth out of it :)
