Echo your comments. Jen played very well yesterday. Any of Dave, Oscar, Jay or Bomber would be popular victors.

Dave will obviously win though as he had the shortest stack coming back yesterday!! :D

    Good luck to all.

Just talking to Mike Lacey and he gave me the below chip counts:

    Oscar 77k
    Dave ~300k
    Brendan 150k
    Kevin O'Leary 100k

    Two big pieces of news:

Oscar's gone out in ninth place, shortly followed by Dave O'Callaghan!
KK for Dave against the other chip leader Jen's AA. She's up to almost 700k now.

I imagine Oscar will be extremely disappointed. He has an awful habit of making final tables of big events and going out early.

its a good bluff but i think i get away with it because a certain MOD hates the team i mention and he does not want to seem like he is doing his job in a biased way making me change it

did i mention liverpool won F all this season!!!!

I have no authority to make you do anything with your sig. If I did, I would.

Also, 5-18, beats 2-16 in any sport.

I do though, and its time you changed it before it um... gets changed. :)

Can't believe I'm in bed sick for this. Oscar has a woeful habit of getting deep and then missing the major money as Marq said but he should take heart from the fact that he's continuously knocking on that door.

Dave O'C, what can you say... In fact looking at that final table I'm quite proud of us getting that sort of quality to it. "lol donkaments" all you like but I cant spot a poor player in that line up.

Gotta say, I'm backin' my fellow blogger Jen (or Tom Nolan) now.

    DeV.

Strange how the prizemoney for each spot seems bigger than in November despite less players. I assume this is down to a much reduced first prize? Smaller gap between 1st and 2nd.
Is Luke Ivory involved this time?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,187 ✭✭✭Flushdraw

    Final 3...

    Jen Mason 508k
    Tom Nolan 859k
    Jay O'Toole 534k

    DeV.

  • Business & Finance Moderators, Entertainment Moderators Posts: 32,387 Mod ✭✭✭✭DeVore

We took on board the comments from last tournie and made the prize money less steep. I think it results in a fairer payout and less likely hood of a chop at the end as deal is nearly reflected in the structure and the last two will hopefully play it out.

Luke couldnt accomodate us this time, which was a pity but c'est la vie.
