I am gonna go abroad soon and will prob get myself a dell dimension 9200..

Since I am going to be playing games.. I will get myself a nice graphics card, I was hoping for a Radeon x1900 or x1950...

    So heres the questions..

Will an x1900xt fit in a 9200? (it takes up 2 slots)

And is the Dell power supply enough for one of these cards?

Usually not but check the rating before you buy the card. The Dell PCs are usually around 300-400

If you're going to splash out on a PC, why buy a card to put in a PC (which technically removes your warranty) - why not buy a Dell with a good card (7900GS, 8600GTS) or buy a different brand? Remember whatever way that a GFX card won't improve performance too much if it's bottlenecked by crappy CPU/RAM.

I might be able to get a dell 9200 with a e6600 or e6700 chip and 667mhz ram so that shouldnt be too much bottleneck..

Adding a graphics card from Dell is not an option in my case, but is too expensive anyway as I like to pickup much faster but cheaper cards from german ebay..

So far I think these are the nvidia cards the 9200 can handle..
    7900 gs
    7800 gt and gtx
    7950 gx2 1 gb

Does anyone know what Radeons it can take? decent ones..

Does anyone know if the slots at the back allow me to add a 2 slot card (widthwise) like the radeon x1900xt?

I am only doing this cos I can get the Dell very cheap. Thanks for your responses so far..

If Dell are willing to ship the system with the card then it fits.

Example, the 7900s will fit. Most cards will. Its a decent card for a casual gamer as well.
