Is this orchard better than, say, a holiday to Australia?

Is having elbows better than winning the lotto?

Is comparing 'like with like' better than, say, shaving 2 second off a lap time?

    :D:D:D

The DS took about a year to really get going, the Wii is still very young in terms of consoles, and the game selection is quite short, but there are certainly some gems in there. Give it some time and I guess you can make an estimate, especially seeing as the first online Wii game only came out a few days ago.

yep, it's going to be christmas this year before the Wii has a somewhat decent back catalogue of games... I still reckon it's worth the asking price for Zelda alone, but once you've completed that there's only a selection of average games available to move on to at the moment...

resident evil and manhunt 2 are too promising upcoming games for the wii......

i got my ds in july last year, new mario bros with it, completed it, spent a while on the mini games and... meh, never got too into it. got a wii for xmas, had a bitva a lugh on wii sports, got stuck in zelda too much (i loooove zelda but it's just not really my kinda game!) then a few weeksa ago, got mario kart and elite beat agents for the ds, havent put it down since! its fast becoming one of my fave ninty consoles, think im going to focus on the ds until the real killer games start popping out for the wii (paper mario, mario galaxy, smash bros etc... any word on a new pikmin? even for the ds?!)
    so just hang on!

What are the killer games for the DS. Have one but once I finished advance wars and Meteos got a little bored. Going away for a couple of months so could do with some tips

Like comparing the PSP to the PS2, no wait, they're nearly the same, hold on....

The DS is perfect for pick up and play fun, and depending on the software, so is the Wii, while it has no shortage now of deeper titles, MoH Vangard, PoP, Zelda, Paper Mario, it still has tons of great puzzlers and mini game extravaganzas, like Rayman Raving Rabbids, Wario or Cooking Mama.
Also the two will soon be linking up, so who knows what groovyness Ninty have in store!

    mario 64
    metroid prime hunters.
add elite beat agents to that list and you pretty much wont be putting down the ds for a good few months...

Nah, the Wii isn't nearly as good as the DS. But then, the DS is very, very good.

While you can't compare the two, I know which I spend more time with. I suppose if the Wii fit in my pocket I'd be playing Mario Strikers now instead of Pokemon, but them's the breaks.
