    Hello,

Ive came across this player on ipoker .10/.25 recently, he usually tops up to the max on alot of tables maybe 7-8 and starts open pushing with a wide range, basically any pair or any 2 broadway or A5+. Hell do this for a while then maybe play a small bit of postflop and then move on to another table. You usually only see him for 20-30 mins and hes gone. Possibly someone dropping levels to blow off steam.

Is it worth the bother to be flipping for a buyin with this maniac, in the limited time ive seen him he seems to do ok because people will call him light, hes in profit for the hands ive tracked on him but its obviously a high variance game.

Im starting to play steady now and at last thanks to alot of reading up and the advice i got here im in profit albeit a small sample but im very happy with my game but while i was playing against him i found myself limping and playing hands i normally wouldnt with the hope hed push on me, Against someone like this should i still play my normal A game and ignore him and what should my range be for calling the all in.

em, I suppose its no harm to sit at the table with him looking for a hand to play with. I know i have followed players lik this in the past. They tend not to last long so grab while ya can!

Does he play any flop or is it all pre flop.

95% preflop, as soon as you see him starting to play post flop he usually disappears fairly quick. OJPEE is his sn, dont know if posting sn's is allowed, if not mods please delete.

Just dont know if its +EV to be messing with him, i havent seen him pushing with pure muck although sometimes he might push 5 times in a row so i suppose its likely he does but even if i pick up AJ against his KQ im still only 60/40 and he might stack me twice and disappear so i think im better off avoiding him and getting my money in when ive much better odds. Of course if i have i premium hand myself ill call him all day and if i hit a premium hand in late position im laughing because im likely to get someone before me calling him light but he usually dosent stay around that long which leaves me to believe hes just blowing off steam.

What Range of hands would you call hes pushing with Giving hes range is basically any pair or any 2 broadway or A5+.

    Does 88+, A9+, KQ+,KJs sound ok

Yeh pretty much, wouldn't do it with KJ or KQ, first 2 seem good to me.
