Opening multiple threads in tabs keeps crashing firefox

Possibly a non boards.ie problem on my end but: Firefox has crashed 4 or 5 times on me in the last hour while trying to open multiple threads in new tabs. Whats weird is its only happening while browsing PI Firefox 2.0.0.3

What does internet explorer do? Anyway if i had to hazard a guess i would check what plugins/addons you have.. especially scriptblocker if you have it.
