Casino Royale available on HD-DVD?

    Just a quick question. Am I right in assuming Casino Royale will only be available on Blueray and not HD-DVD, since Sony are gimps?

    If HD-DVD takes off and Blu-Ray doesn't, it'll be released on HD-DVD. Sony also backed betamax over VHS, but their whole catalogue came out on VHS, pretty much.

    Indeed. Not that it matters that much at the end of the day, it's an awful awful movie :)

    it's actually the only bond movie i've ever sat through from start to finish. enjoyed it a lot...!

    and now i own two blu-ray versions. thanks sony :)

    I think its just an ok movie. Its not a great Bond Movie though.

    One of the many, many factors that annoyed me about the film was the constant BluRay advertisements. So many people do go around copying files onto bluray discs these days :rolleyes:
    This is what happens when multi national corporations buy film studios.
