Looking at Add and Remove in control panel I have 4 updates of J2SE Runtime Environment, update 4,6,8,9 Question is am I able to delete the 4,6,8, updates and keep update 9. Each update is 119mb so deleteing would give me back some space. Is this possible without doing any harm to the pc.

Should be ok, but the safer thing to do would be uninstall all of them and get a fresh download from the Java people.

Yeah rather annoying how it doesn't remove previous versions. Safe to remove older versions and leave the newest running.

just uninstall the old ones, sun loves your disk space by not removing the old ones when a new one is installed.
