    Hi Seanie,

I subcribe to setanta sports and the setanta golf is included. The price is currently at €18 per month. However, you can pay a years subscription in full from the website.

I am not an avid TV watcher so I only have the basic 2 mix with sky and then the setanta package. I find it quite good. I have noticed during between Mondays & Wednesdays during the day a lot of the shows are repeated in the evening. Come Thursday evening the next event of the US PGA Tour kicks off.

Regarding the fitness/tips/advice etc programs. I'm not sure if this is the same for anyone else but, the more I look at these "How to..." or "Do it this way..." programs, it actually throws me off my game. I tend to stick with one way and work on that if it helps. Only recently I started hitting my drives good again after watching one of these programs that threw me off completely in the first place. I tend to avoid now and just go to the pratice range and work on it myself.

There was another thread on Setanta Golf some time ago about the pros and cons of it. If you have Sky Sports, BBC, The Golf Channel & Setanta Golf you'll get to see every possible golf tournament that's on live TV.

Personally I like the setanta package as you have the American Sports, Irish Sports and then the Golf with a few extra channels thrown in.

Racing UK which is part of the setanta sports package is offering a promotion at the moment whereby if you subscribe to them before June 1st and Frankie Dettori wins the Epsom Derby on Authorised they will refund your subscription for the year. The horse is even money favourite to win the race.
The promotion is only available through racing uk and not setanta, so you must subscribe for the setanta package through racing uk to be eligible if you know what I mean:)
A nice way of saving €216

do we sign up on the racinguk site to get this offer?
does this subscription need to be paid upfront?

There is a debate currently ongoing in the satellite forum about this offer. http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055098936.

Racing UK's T&C state that the offer is only available to residents of the United Kingdom excluding Northern Ireland. There is no mention of the ROI.
Some people telephoned(0818 272 432) and were told that the offer is available to ROI customers while others were told that the offer does not apply to the ROI.
You can subscribe to racing UK either up front or on a monthly rolling contract. Minimum 12 month contract applies
