Dell ship with XP?

    Am I reading this right? I was looking at the dell site and it seems you can order a new pc with XP installed? That's good news, I'm not looking forward to trying to get driver updates for my audio hardware.

    Yeah, they brought it back on certain lines due to customer demand.

    Its more expensive though! I looked at getting the same model I got with XP instead of vista and I think there was over €100 in the difference!

    Well that sucks. Why are they charging more for it? I suppose if you really need it you'll pay the premium and they know this and figured they'd make a few bob out of it.

    It's a good idea on their part, I mean they're pitching at people like me who'll pay it just to save themselves some hassle.
