The Ryanair online web checkin service is currently using unsecure connections whilst you are checking in so you might want to think twice about using it at the moment:

The Ryanair website isn't very secure in general.

During their recent free seats campaign, I bought a few seats on Dublin - London using an American debit card. I didn't have the card to hand with me, but I knew the card number, the expiry date and the type of card (Visa debit) - but only had a rough idea of what the CCV number was (couldn't remember the last digit). So I tried all the possible combinations of the last digit - xx0 to xx9. On my second attempt, I got diverted to the Ryanair "Change my booking" webpage, with some other random english guys details being displayed. The last four digits of his credit card were the same as mine, but everything else was different (name, address, flights).

So basically Ryanair started throwing random other peoples bookings at me, for some unknown reason.

I didn't continue with the original booking, and probably won't book with them using a credit/debit card again (unless it's a disposable 3V type card).

I was contemplating e-mailing Ryanair and telling them about this, but I came to the conclusion that it'd either go unnoticed, or cause more hassle than good.
