Mt first real paranormal experience

As many of you know Im enthusiastic about the paranormal but about as anesthetized to such things as one can get.

Well last night I was in bed, and running over in my head a speech I have to give in the near future. I wasnt sleepy and was wide awake. At about 2:58am my phone lit up, as if it got a message or the battery was low. When i turned to check it, it was totally blank. The light died and I rolled back over , looking at the ceiling. Then in the corner of my eye I could see a black figure moving along the upper wall to my right. I turned to face it and could still make out a shadow along the wall, moving. Then after around 30 seconds it was gone. I did get pretty freaked out because whatever it was, i certainly didnt feel like I wanted it there. As soon as it all stopped everything was fine again.

Anyway I just thought I'd share this story, as I have very very few.

Congrats on teh experience Grimes, well depending how you look at it of course.

Anyway would this experience, being that you experienced it so directly make you rethink anything you may or may not have experienced before? Such as the green room in Ross Castle?

*I find it hard to belive a man of your calibre was in bed alone so is it possible you have another witness who wishes to remain anonymous?

Im mad into the paranormal, but I have never experienced anything pretty concrete like that. Part of me would like to, once its on my in my own house.

Phones do that its when the networks systematically checks up on them or theres alot of activity near by, mine does it a lot at night which wrecks my head.
also I've seen shadows movings up the wall not to be the annoyiong scpetic but it tends to be fluctuations in the light outside, a drop of rain or an insect walking over whatevers casting the shadow.
stillif it was a ghost thats pretty cool.

Hi,

Im new to the boards and just reading through the posts and i saw this one.

I am forever seeing black shadows, mainly in my bedroom but also all around the house and other places.

Sometimes they dont feel good and ask them to leave me alone and others are fine.

What are these? Spirirts? are they harmful if they are black?
For as long as i can remember i have seen these and im never fully sure of what there are.

As the other thread says InfraSound can cause you to experience these things. 2 of the regular (and handsome) members of this forum built a detector for this.

I see there are people that see things like this and put it down to a trick of the eye but what i see is deff not that.

Is there something about wha yo usee that makes you able to say with absolutely no doubt that its not something which can be explained.

Dont get me wrong I know for myself these things can be real but even with my own experieicnes there can be elements of doubt.

What makes this a real paranormal activity? First thing that comes to mind is the light going on and off quickly in a dark area or room creates optical illusions like wierd shadows and stuff.

No, Im quite the sceptic actually untill I see proof. Thats why I got into this. And I believe I have seen proof to myself in many photos and noises over the past two years.

All of my paranormal experiences seem to happen late at night when I am lying in bed. The phone thing happens all the time, I wouldnt call that paranormal though, more of an annoyance, I just put it face down. I often feel there is an unwelcome presence in my room. The most recent thing to happen was about a month ago, I was asleep but I distinctly felt and saw a figure at the end of my bed banging down on my shins. I jumped awake, and still felt it for a few minutes. I do often wonder if it is just my imagination going gaga in the evening.

the thing is ive been doing evp for a few years now,and what ive been told by my evp buddies is that when you are looking to findproof ,ie,investagations,or as on my case evp,you are inviting the spirits to come forward,they might not come forward that moment but they will show themselves in other ways.for me activity in my house was very little upto 2 weeks ago,i was sitting in the sitting room and i could see the kitchen thru the open door it was about 8tish when i seen somthing at the corner of my eye in the kitchen so i turned and there was no one there,so i entered the kitchen,and just as i walk in the light switch knocked of,i was amazed and ask what ever it was to do it again the outside light started to flicker so i just said thankyou,later that week one of the mediums came to do a reading for my wife and before she started she said to me without me telling her,
Danny your grandfather knocked off the light the other night,i was in shock. but in this game you call out and ask if their is anybody there and this is what they will do its just their way of showing there here.:eek:
