    Guys,
myself and wifey are trying to sort out a weeks holiday, preferably near the beach, withe sun.

We have done the usual spots, Turkey, Lanzarote, Majorca etc and with them looking for around 1600 euro for the 2 of us, in a nice place, sick of the cheapo jobs now at this stage.

Soooooo, what else is there, we could still spend the 1600 euro for the week anywhere really, we don't care as long as its nice!!

    Cheers

Italian Riviera? San Remo is nice, not too expensive and some spectacular coastline. It's a lot more "grown up" than your normal Balearics or Canary Islands!

We took a ryan air flight to treviso near itay we got the connecting bus to venice spent 2 nights then took the train to perscheira which is in lake garda it was fab lots of lovely towns to pick from. lots of activities as well as sun bathing you can take the ferry from town to town to explore the area. We loved Malcesine which is half way up the lake lovely town. It cost us around around 1200 for the 9 nights half board which was very good. We booked it all ourself on the net it works out cheaper that way. But is a lovely area.
www.trentitialia.it for train times and www.gardainforma.com for other details.
