winamp problem.

    would appreciate some help with my setting problem.

    Downloaded winamp recently and now all my vids n music are set up to play through this software wether i like it or not. where would i locate the setting so as to disable winamp whenever, so i can play things through windows media player??

    help appreciated

    You will have to open "the media file" from explorer.
    IN EXPLORER
    Right click the file and choose OPEN WITH.
    Click CHOOSE PROGRAM
    Click On Windows Media player
    Tick the " USE THIS PROGRAM EACH TIME"

    Click okay and ur prob should be sorted :-)
